Trinoor ("Trinoor," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of everyone who visits www.trinoor.com or otherwise interacts with our websites, products, and services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, the choices you have, and how you can contact us with questions or requests.

Because our visitors, customers, and contacts are located around the world, this Privacy Policy is designed to address the requirements of applicable data protection laws, including (without limitation) the U.S. federal and state privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act), Canadian privacy laws (including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and Quebec's Law 25), the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the UK General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018 (as updated by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025), the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (as amended), and the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012. Section 8 below describes rights that may be available to you depending on where you are located.

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this policy, please do not access or use our Services

3. Newsletter and Marketing Communications

If you sign up for our newsletter or otherwise opt in to receive marketing communications from us, we will use your email address to send you information about Trinoor products, services, industry insights, and events. We only add you to our marketing lists after you have taken an affirmative action to subscribe (for example, submitting a newsletter sign-up form or checking a consent box), or where you are an existing customer or contact and applicable law permits such communications.

You may withdraw your consent and unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by:

  • Clicking the "unsubscribe" link included in the footer of every marketing email we send; or

Please note that even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you non-promotional messages, such as transactional emails, responses to support requests, or communications necessary to service an existing customer relationship.

Our marketing emails are also designed to comply with applicable anti-spam and electronic marketing laws, including the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act, Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), the EU ePrivacy Directive (as implemented in applicable EU member states), and Australia's Spam Act 2003, each of which requires (among other things) clear sender identification, accurate subject lines, and a working unsubscribe mechanism in every commercial electronic message.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons, pixels, and local storage) to operate our website, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use our Services, and support our marketing efforts. Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit.

4.1 Types of Cookies We Use
  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for the website to function properly (for example, security and load-balancing). These cannot be disabled.

  • Performance and Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors interact with our website (for example, via tools such as Google Analytics) so we can improve performance and content.

  • Functionality Cookies: Remember choices you make (such as language or region) to provide a more personalized experience.

  • Advertising and Targeting Cookies: May be set by us or third-party advertising partners to build a profile of your interests and show relevant content on our site and elsewhere.

4.2 Your Cookie Choices

Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device — for example, through a cookie banner, browser prompt, or other appropriate consent mechanism on our website. You can also control cookies at any time through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies; however, disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website.

We honor recognized universal opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), where technically feasible, as a valid method for exercising your opt-out rights described in Section 8 below. You may also exercise these choices at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 14.

More information about managing cookies through your browser is available at www.allaboutcookies.org.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share personal information with:

  • Service Providers: Vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as email delivery, website hosting, analytics, customer relationship management, and IT support, under contractual obligations to protect your information.

  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

  • Legal Requirements: When required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Trinoor, our users, or others.

  • With Your Consent: In other circumstances where you have directed us to share your information or have otherwise consented.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide our Services, comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When personal information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete, anonymize, or archive it.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals and, where required, the relevant supervisory authority (such as the National Privacy Commission in the Philippines, the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, an EU supervisory authority, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Australian Information Commissioner, or applicable U.S. state regulators) within the time frame required by applicable law.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Trinoor operates globally through a group of affiliated companies, including entities organized in the United States (Georgia), Canada (British Columbia), Europe (Hungary), and Australia (Queensland). For purposes of processing personal information collected through this Site, the data controller (or equivalent responsible party under applicable law) is the Trinoor entity organized under the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, unless you have a separate written agreement with a different Trinoor affiliate that provides otherwise for the processing covered by that agreement.

Depending on where you are located, you may have specific rights regarding your personal information under applicable law. We describe the principal rights available in each region below. Where the same right is described in more than one section, it applies to you if you meet the criteria of the corresponding law; where laws differ, we apply the more protective standard where reasonably practicable.

8.1 United States

California (CCPA/CPRA). If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, and (if applicable) sold or shared about you, and the categories and purposes for doing so;

  • Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions;

  • Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you;

  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information (Trinoor does not sell personal information for money, and does not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising in the manner regulated by the CCPA, other than as may occur through the advertising or analytics cookies described in Section 4);

  • Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information, where applicable;

  • Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at contact@trinoor.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time frame required by law. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. As described in Section 4.2, we also honor recognized universal opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a valid way to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information where technically feasible.

Other U.S. States. If you are a resident of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, or another U.S. state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and to opt out of the processing of your personal information for targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, or certain profiling. You may exercise these rights by contacting us using the details in Section 14. We do not discriminate against users for exercising these rights.

CAN-SPAM and COPPA. Our marketing emails to U.S. recipients comply with the CAN-SPAM Act (see Section 3). Our Services are not directed to children, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA); see Section 9.

8.2 Canada

PIPEDA. If you are located in Canada, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) gives you the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request that we correct any inaccuracies, and to withdraw consent to our processing of your personal information (subject to legal or contractual restrictions). You may file a complaint about our handling of your personal information with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Quebec (Law 25). If you are located in Quebec, you also have the right to be informed about any automated decision-making that uses your personal information to render a decision about you, the right to request that certain personal information be de-indexed or that we cease disseminating it, and the right to data portability. We rely on your express consent before collecting sensitive personal information, and before using your personal information for a purpose incompatible with the purpose for which it was collected. Trinoor's designated privacy contact, responsible for ensuring compliance with Quebec's private sector privacy law, can be reached at contact@trinoor.com.

CASL. Our commercial electronic messages sent to Canadian recipients comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (see Section 3).

8.3 European Economic Area (GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you the right, subject to certain conditions and exceptions, to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;

  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information;

  • Request erasure of your personal information;

  • Restrict or object to our processing of your personal information, including processing for direct marketing purposes;

  • Request a portable copy of your personal information in a structured, commonly used format;

  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal;

  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

We process personal information under this Privacy Policy on the basis of one or more of the following legal grounds: your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests (for example, operating and improving our Services and communicating with business contacts), and compliance with our legal obligations.

8.4 United Kingdom

If you are located in the UK, the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 give you rights equivalent to those described in Section 8.3 above, including access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Following the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, certain low-risk analytics, functionality, and security cookies may be used without prior consent (though we will still provide clear information and an opt-out, as described in Section 4), and limited additional processing may be carried out on the basis of "recognised legitimate interests" (for example, safeguarding or crime prevention) without a full legitimate interests assessment. These changes do not reduce your underlying rights described above.

8.5 Australia

If you are located in Australia, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) give you the right to access and request correction of the personal information we hold about you, to know how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed, and to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). Recent amendments to the Privacy Act have introduced a statutory tort for serious invasions of privacy and will, over time, introduce additional transparency requirements regarding automated decision-making and enhanced protections for children online; we will update this Privacy Policy as those requirements come into effect. Our marketing communications to Australian recipients comply with the Spam Act 2003 (see Section 3).

8.6 Philippines

If you are located in the Philippines, the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules give you the right to be informed about the collection and processing of your personal information, to access and correct your personal information, to object to processing (including for direct marketing), to request erasure or blocking of your personal information where appropriate, to data portability, and to be indemnified for damages resulting from inaccurate, unlawful, or unauthorized use of your personal information. We rely on your consent or another lawful basis recognized under the Data Privacy Act (such as contract performance or legitimate interests) to process your personal information. You may lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

8.7 All Other Users

Regardless of your location, you may contact us at any time to ask questions about this Privacy Policy, update your communication preferences, or request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and we will respond consistent with applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Services are intended for business audiences and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16 (or, in the United States, under the age of 13 as defined by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)). If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, plug-ins, or services that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

11. International Data Transfers

We are a global business, and personal information we collect may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than the country in which it was originally collected, including the United States, which may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the EEA, and the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the UK. We also take into account cross-border transfer obligations under laws such as Quebec's Law 25, the Philippine Data Privacy Act, and the Australian Privacy Act when transferring personal information from those jurisdictions.

12. "Do Not Track" Signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is currently no uniform industry standard for recognizing and honoring DNT signals, our Services do not currently respond to DNT signals.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated "Effective Date," and, where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
