Trinoor has assisted Holly Frontier Cheyenne LLC with its latest upgrade to EMPAC 8.6.7 and Curator 5.0.
Running Oracle 11g database on Windows 2008r2 server operating system and client machines running 64 bit Windows 7, the upgrade went live in Cheyenne, Wyoming on August 5th, 2013.
This upgrade by Trinoor and Holly Frontier Cheyenne brings the refinery’s databases, servers and clients up to supported environments from Oracle and Microsoft.
The Cheyenne Refinery is located in Cheyenne, Wyoming and has a crude oil capacity of 52,000 barrels per day with the complexity to convert a wide variety of crude oils into a high percentage of light products.
The crude oil is purchased from local producers, including the nearby Niobrara and Bakken formations, and is also imported via the Express Pipeline from Canada.
Cheyenne refined products are primarily marketed in the eastern slope of the Rocky Mountain region, which encompasses eastern Colorado (including the Denver metropolitan area), eastern Wyoming, and western Nebraska.
